Water is of utmost importance in order to lead a healthy lifestyle, as the human body is composed of up to 60% water. Water may be the simplest of all meals or drinks, but it is usually considered one of the most basic and most important factor to even stay alive. In other words, within a couple of days of dehydration, our cells will fail to deliver the essential nutrients to the organs, falter blood circulation and the body temperature will drop. So, it is essential to keep up with the recommended water intake of 8 glasses per day.

Water is essential to balance the amount of bodily fluids, which is mandatory for transportation of nutrients to cells. Is 8 glasses of water the recommended amount for everyone? Are you able to alternate it?

Even though the recommended amount of water intake per day is 8 glasses, the required amount may vary person to person. If you exercise regularly, work outside for extended periods of time, or suffering from some medical condition that requires more hydration than usual, then it would be prudent to consume more than 8 glasses of water a day.
